Many people in younger generations are dressed in Y2K style. What is Y2K, exactly? It refers to 2000, a year marked by glitter, loud accessories, athletic attire, crop tops, exposed underwear, and exceptionally LOW rise jeans (Y=year; 2K=2000).
Influencers on Instagram and TikTok, as well as well-known individuals like Rihanna, Bella Hadid, and Dua Lipa, among others, all made major contributions to the revival of the beloved trend of the millennial age.
Despite being one of the season’s most influential trends, there is a lot of disagreement among fashion experts regarding it, with some supporting it and others engaged in a life-or-death battle (figuratively).
Do you still wear Y2K fashion or do you find it unappealing?
